#1: Knocking Noise When Travelling Over Bumps Author: Chalky, Location: United KingdomPosted: Sun Nov 06, 2011 5:12 am ---- Hi Guys,
Hoping you may be able to help out. Whenever I travel over bumps in the road, pot holes etc. I get a knocking noise from the rear of my vehicle. I've checked the exhaust (seems fine), so I'm wondering what it could be. Could it be the drop links?
If it is the drop links how much would these cost to fix at a garage?
Cheers in advance for your help.
Chalky.

Just had another look, the wheelbrace was loose in the boot, and the spare wheel was also pretty loose in its carrier. Put the brace back in the bracket, and tightened the spare wheel.
