fitted the replacement throttle body and it came with a icv and tps , ran fine last week. went out last night and decided to start playing up again. plugged my obd in and it came up idle control systems again... fitted a new icv that i had and still didnt wanna no. i think my car is jinxed

When my car does actually tick over properly - matter of seconds it sounds like the exhaust is ppopping . Is this normal ?

i think i may do that aswell. im going to be giving this garage a ring tomorrow on my lunch break and see if i can pop in after work and see what they say. also what metre readings should i be looking out for if i connect a multimetre to the icv plug. loom end

I wouldn't bother.
What would you do even if you had the specialised equipment needed to read a linear-motor circuit,
and found it was at fault?

Just use some contact cleaner on the conectors ECU-end and hope for the best.

Peugeot dealer's sounds like a good idea to me at this stage.

ive already cleaned the ecu connectors , worked for about a day . what do you mean read a linear motor circuit

I think the type of signals found there are a bit more complex than just a voltage you could check with a multimeter.

Pug dealer would be best because they usually have quite good knowledge of PP2000, and latest updates available etc.

finally given up with this problem got the 206 booked in to a garage to get plugged in and pin point exactly whats going on. will let you all no next weekend when its been looked at

toke the car to a garage to get checked over for this problem. they said they checked the icv and the wiring , they seem all fine. they disconnected the ecu and plugged it back in and it ran fine. they think it may be a dodgey plug or the ecu is knackered. if it comes back again they will send the ecu for testing and dismantle the plug to see if anything is broken

i cleaned what i could the other week, im going to give it a proper clean tonight
