#1: Lights on heater and console unit not working Author: dori, Location: New ZealandPosted: Mon Nov 14, 2011 2:24 am ---- I have a 2001 GTI 206 coupe, 2 litre.
The backlights on my heater/ac unit and dash clock/temp guage wont work. I have replaced the LED's, but no win.
All fuses are fine, and heaters working fine. I can see the clock and stuff working when i shine a torch on it, but with no back lighting it cant be seen any other time.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Adam.

I had this problem with my clock and had to bend the contacts downwards

YES they are!
