Nice post edit Wink

I noticed that Laughing , was going to say it wasn't the same as ESP then it was changed.

public.servicebox.peug...ors_eu.jsp

You need to register for a FREE account or find some log in details from somewhere else / ask someone else nicely to look the VIN up.

Hmm..

I must say that is pretty impressive that esp system.
I din't imagine it was such a high-tech thing 206's came with.

Retrofit!

Retrofit!

Needs cabin wiring loom as the yaw sensor lives under carpet below left hand seat, replace the ABS unit with the ESP version, ESP version of master cylinder, com 2000 with ESP steering angle sensor, esp off switch for dash, BSI configuration update for a start.

No, I was kidding as I imagined it would be cheaper to get a car with it as standard.

Any new car you purchase now should have ESP fitted as standard thanks to the EU law makers.

Only a few new cars can get away with not fitting it due to low volume production & other get out clauses.

You'll still be able to buy new cars without ESP, for now, it's only new models that'll need ESP as standard to gain 'type approval'. ESP will become compulsory in all new cars from October 31, 2014.

Our 138 has ESP and that. It's a later facelift car, though.
