I used this one

www.halfords.com/webap...&langId=-1

They said it didn't cause any problems but I used it as sparingly as possible

Thanks again for the good words

I dropped my car off at the bodyshop yesterday, to have the NSR quarter repainted. It had been done in the past as paid for by the people who damaged it, but the job did not meet my stringent OCD standards, so I am having it redone by a different repairman of my choice.

Before: [Note the poor prep work and hazy unbaked paint]

When I dropped it off he asked what I do for a living, I told him I am a valeter and I have picked up a bit of work from him so happy days. He is also painting a 180 exhaust trim for me.

Yes mate you must be like me then, for not caring about the people who say "its just a 206", if it's your favourite thing its worth spending a bit of money to get things back to perfect again. I plan on keeping mine for a while you see, and had it since it was 2 years old. My car's panel was at bare metal this afternoon so hopefully should have it back Friday.

Thanks dude, just dropped some sport front wings off at the same bodyshop. He is very busy at the minute, which makes me appreciate the fact he fitted me in last week, and how well the work the has been done. There's no pressure or rush for him to respray the wings for me, it gives me time to see if I can afford tyres and hopefully get to fit the wings and wheels together.

Taxed for 6 months today as insurance is due in April, now the payments for these running costs are spread out a bit.

And I did another full clean of the 180 interior to get rid of the last bits of discolouring and smell, ready for liquid leather repair on the worn areas before they go to the retrim place. If I can get all of the above, plus some Bilstein B12 sorted before FCS I will be happy with progress for this year Smile

Tyres have been ordered for the wheels. Went for T1Rs in the end due to budget, and people seem to rate them for our cars. Had some decals made up by Ste (Admin) so that I could make custom centre caps, the stickers are just waiting for centre caps that fit to come along. Here's a photo shop Smile

Wheels should be put on by the end of the week. Then I can save my money a bit and focus on the interior project closer to July.

New wheels Peugeot fwiend!

The exterior will not be deviating far from this as I want to retain an OEM look, any other cosmetic change and it may be on the verge of bad taste

The centre caps were a photoshop Matt, I still need to get some :/
