Anyway just two quick questions. Firstly where does the temporary radio live (Red) go? It has a bad connection somewhere and only reads 1 volt. The wire was a bit squashed before the plug so I tested the power further back the wire and it was the same. I then Flowed the wire down the loom which ran through a hole in the floor further back from the air-bag ECU. Where is the next accessible point?
Next question; what are these dangling wires for that seem to have been chopped

#4: Re: Wiring Issues Author: dumdum0910, Location: letchworthPosted: Sun Nov 20, 2011 4:44 pm ---- by the looks of the pics it doesnt have an air con pump , as it bolts in to them 4 holes on the block
#5: Re: Wiring Issues Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Sun Nov 20, 2011 5:04 pm ---- Wouldn't have thought Peugeot would just leave chopped wires for the air con in the loom. Would have thought it has different loom altogether.
#6: Re: Wiring Issues Author: V9977, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Sun Nov 20, 2011 5:39 pm ---- Doubt it would have different loom altogether for economies of scale reasons
and for adding afterwards as an option.
If it was an un-connected plug maybe it got loose and got caught on something..
OR it could be totaly unrelated.

#8: Re: Wiring Issues Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Mon Nov 21, 2011 10:00 am ---- I will check tomorrow or Wednesday when I get chance. Didn't think of that
#9: Re: Wiring Issues Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Sun Dec 04, 2011 4:57 pm ---- They seem to go up to the alternator if I am not mistaken so they are proberbly for air-con.
Anyone know what I can do next with this radio live? There is 1 volt just before the wire goes in the floor but at the other end there is 12v on the fuse.
