#1: Another gearbox Problem Author: -_QuicksilverPug_-, Location: NewcastlePosted: Mon Nov 21, 2011 10:43 am ---- Hi all, one of many problems
av had a look on the forum and have found lots of gearbox problems but a would like help with my specific problem please
the problem is a big clunk when going into second gear, loudness seems to depend on how cold it is. It is also prety much impossible to downchange into second. Another problem is going into first and reverse it just wont go into gear so i have to pump the clutch abit which becoms a problem when you have to so down to first for some of the speed bumps around mine.
Lots of questions but any reply would be appreciated
thanks Jack

Peugeot / Citroen main dealer parts dept if you need gear oil as its cheap enough, these MA boxes are such stone age technology they hate fancy synthetic / wrong grade of oil being put in them.
