engine vibration at 2200 rpm (all gears)
-> 206 Problems

#1: engine vibration at 2200 rpm (all gears) Author: flat-eric, Location: Peterborough PostPosted: Mon Nov 21, 2011 4:08 pm
    ----
just recently I have noticed a vibration that comes alive at 2200 rpm in all gears.
most noticably in 5th at 65mph.
if I dip the clutch it goes away
if I drive at 64mph its really smooth
as soon as i go over that its like someone turning on a noisy pump,
the faster I go the less noticable it is? 80 - 90 ish (on private roads) Cool

could this be clutch? or some kind of bearing?

only work I have had done recently is new CAT fitted.

car is a 2.0 HDI SW, serviced regularly 123,000 miles

cheers for looking

Rob
