Just a quick possible noob question but been talking to a friend thats turboing his civic type R, and he's on about fitting a limited slip diff to it just made me think. am i right in thinking the 180 has a lsd as standard as ive always thought that, but seeing as honda dont put one in the type R why would the pug have one ?
can someone clear it up for me thanks Smile

there's very lil cars that i know of that come with LSD's as standard or optional extras

Just so you know the JDM EK9, EP3 civic type r came with an LSD as standard so did the integra type r's...there you go you know another useless fact Laughing

Less and less cars will be having them too because they can use the ESP function to control individual brake calipers and therefore control a spinning wheel. Not quite as good as a proper LSD though.

Some 180 do have a lsd fitted as standard. It just wont be set very strong

Aye a few of the older gen sports hatches had them, recently i can only think of the Megane 230

Quite a few high spec BMW's, Focus Turbo's, 405 Mi16x4 to name a few, None of them a plate type thou
180's never had a LSD from the factory

The new corsa VXR nurburgring has got a proper LSD fitted, suppose to be brilliant. Although it's about 23 grand!
