Your GTI isnt got drop much more value due to its old age, fix it, run it in to the ground & save your £ for something better then a 206.

I still think you need 2.5k minimum to get a decent example. The problems you have listed are not major so id just fix each one when you have the money. Like people have said its best to hold onto it until after xmas now and if you dont have the extra cash to put it yet its pointless selling it anyway.

I would be asking £1500 with the leak, idle and abs problem sorted or £1200 as it is.

You could sell your GTi and end up with an absolute dog of a 180 reliability wise
