#1: Sony MEX BT3800U Author: pug206_8v, Location: North YorkshirePosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 12:56 am ---- Hi peepz. I have installed the sony mex bt3800u stereo into my 206 2006 verve. it appears when i unlock the car the stereo automatically turns on and then when i lock the car it automatically turns off. Its not a major problem because it then for saves me the hassle of having to turn it off and on by hand when entering and exiting the car. Any help or ideas as to why this is happening would be grateful.
cheers

Everytime you unlock the car you wake up the BSI which then sends power to the headunit causing it to come on.

Its not wired in correctly, simple.
If your really unlucky other Peugeot / Citroen owners may also be able to wake your stereo up for 3 minutes when they unlock there cars to as your BSI will wake up as it senses an unlock signal nearby then goes back to sleep
