#4: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 7:20 am ---- lots of potential
#5: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: JordGJ, Location: Leeds / West MidlandsPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 8:32 am ---- interesting...
#6: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 12:29 pm ---- Thanks guys for all the comments, yeh white was a bonus tbh wanted the 2.0 hdi for tuning potential over the newer 1.6hdi as i can get this motor to about 180bhp pretty easily (list below of plans is how) - was pretty much ready to buy a blue one when i saw this on autotrader only white one so assuming there rare?? Anyway 200 mile round trip later and it was home
Plans are:
Lower
Colour Code
16" Nimrods -DONE (still to paint white will get done with CC)
Custom Induction
FMIC
New Turbo
Remap
Turbo Back Exhaust with gti 180 tailpipes
Uprated Injectors
This should see between 170-180 BHP
Will take it from there then - engine will take 200BHP as a few have proved this and running reliable (over 3 years) but get the above done first.
Just gotta start saving lol
Gonna try and keep it as OEM as i can (externally) and will definatly be hitting the track summer 2012

some pics for your inspiration
#8: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:16 pm ---- Very nice mate that, will look very similar - was thinking about the morrettes and was unsure but look epic in black.
They the 406 brembos? Easy fit or not? As the brakes a pretty shocking in the 206 if im honest (might just be mine) coming from a stripped tracked c2 vts the brakes in that were awsome and standard

dont know much about DERV tuning tbh other than remaps and high flow panel filter lol... would be interesting to see 180bhp off the 2.0hdi though, like a 100% bhp power gain?
would b interesting to see, and very quick if it works out! where abouts in leeds are ya then?
#10: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Mon Nov 28, 2011 11:34 am ---- Yeh the 2.0 hdi will see 180bhp with those mods easily.
There is a 306 hdi running 201bhp and 245lbft
Very tunable if you know what your doing and after modding several dervs it will be easy to do this one - everything for this will be custom as i dont think there's much off the shelf stuff need to look tho.
Im from seacroft mate around 5 mins from the tescos. Id say come see the motor but your car would be filthy lol after haha there building houses around us all the time hence why the car never looks clean
#11: Re: Project 2.0 HDi Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Thu Dec 01, 2011 2:25 pm ---- Little update:
Got hold a PH2 boot handle now - so when that comes spray her up and get it fitted.
Also bought some lowering springs, as soon as they arrive should be at a decent height then adjust the rear (easy or hard job?)
Still on the search for some 15" sciroccos (xsi sport alloys i think) for the car too so if anyone knows of any knocking about let me know
All my items have arrived so thanks to the members who sent me them
Hopefully this weekend (weather permitting) will crack on with the lowering, aswell as fitting the PH2 boot handle.
Got a hold of some xsi alloys now which were taken from a CC - collected them from bolton yesterday and fitted them last night.
Just been on ebay and ordered some new headlight bulbs (H7 fitment) and some smd sidelights, hopefully they will be here too and can get those in at weekend aswell.
Gonna be a busy weekend so hopefully the weather holds out, anyone local and board feel free to pop round and give me a hand haha plenty of brews and bacon sarnys
Ill try and find my phone cable and get a few shots later

#16: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 08/12/11 Author: Mikey2uk, Location: StevenagePosted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 3:12 pm ---- From what I have heard it is and can course no end of problems as well. Thats why i havent gone down that route

Must admit it drives alot better unplugged though.
Is there not going to be any performance loss from the EGR when I get stuck into my engine after the new year?
Any help apreciated
Cheers

Also shopped her using paint lol to see what it might looked like dropped when i get round to fitting the springs - hope you like.
Shopped:
Also quick question - gloss black strips or cc white?
Wheels will be whatever strips get done, our lass says black to seperate the colour a little but thought id ask you lot for an opinion.
Cheers
#23: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 18/12/11 (pg2) Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Sun Dec 18, 2011 2:53 pm ---- Not low enough.....
#24: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 18/12/11 (pg2) Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Sun Dec 18, 2011 3:04 pm ---- lol i had coilys on my last vts c2 and was a pain in the ring around my end pic here:
so im gonna just drop on springs and get rid of the damn archgap at the front/rear haha. If it stiffens it up more than standard its a winner as it handles ok standard tbf - just a little too soft.....

#26: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 18/12/11 (pg2) Author: lufc_hdi, Location: LeedsPosted: Sun Dec 18, 2011 5:04 pm ---- lol yeh a tad too low the 14s didnt help tbh when i put standard vts wheels on it sat pretty good was still low tho hence not going for coilys this time round. Though they are a hell of alot cheaper than the c2 ones - £800 they set me back seen 206 one for £200 new!!
#27: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 18/12/11 (pg2) Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Sun Dec 18, 2011 6:13 pm ---- Looking forward to this white 206 of yours.
#28: Re: Project 2.0 HDi - UPDATE 18/12/11 (pg2) Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Mon Dec 19, 2011 3:09 am ---- EGR - dependant on age will not turn on EML. Mine has been disconnected for 18months and have no problems other than it takes a turn or three extra to start on the coldest mornings. Fuel intake will increase but nothing majorly. However pickup does seem better.
