i have been living with this for a year, any clue why does the temp rise to 100 when standing still?? does it concern resistor that is mounted right next to the fan?? and could there be any damage that happened to the engine after all this time??

yes it works, but i am not sure if it is working as powerful as it is supposed to, and radiator water level is full.

Its normal, as long as the fan kicks in to bring the temp back down. Mine kicks in at just over 90. The temp normally sits around 85 to 90 though. If your sat still youve got no airflow over your radiator, so there temp will go up.

Petrols get hot when stood still, diesels cool down. Its just how it is Smile

Try a radiator flush to clean the system out make it a bit more efficient? I did this and fitted a new thermostat, cleaned the coolant temp sensor, never gets above 90, even stood still.

I guess the weather is just hotter in your part of the world then over here in the UK Wink

Reason temp will rise when standing still is the lack of forward airflow through the radiator.

Are both fan speeds working correctly?

Maybe a better radiator will help with cooling, no idea if Peugeot fit a normal / Europe spec radiator on hot climate cars Confused

Mine does this so i turn the Aircon on and the temp goes down 10 degrees as the fan cools the radiater.

The low speed fan isn't audible over the sound of the engine. The high speed fan is loud so you'll know if it's working or not.

the high speed fan kicks in when it reach 100c but the low speed fan never kicks in when at 90c or above, but it works when i turn on the a/c, could that be the resistor??
