#1: Clutch just fitted, changing gears is a bit knotty? Author: Dethnell, Location: United KingdomPosted: Mon Nov 28, 2011 4:54 pm ---- So after getting a brand new clutch 8/10 times changing gear is smooth as silk. However the odd few times it feels a bit knotty trying to change gears.
As far as I know from all the previous jobs that have been done on my 1999 206 at no time has the gearbox oil been changed.
My question being would this be a cheap way to see if I can solve the odd time it stuggles to get into gear before thinking the gearbox might be on the way out?
Thankyou in advance
