Hey,

Not been around here for awhile so I thought I would sign on and let you guys know what is currently being planned around this area as I think it may just interest you.

Now this is kind of hard to really explain so I will try my best!

For starters this isn't being held on an open race track. Just a VERY big privately owned tarmac place and what will be going on is this:

- Circuit driving, around cones doing all sorts of maneuvers around them included hand brake turns, J-Turns and power slides

- 1/4mile Drag Racing

- Skid Cars may also be available so it will simulate driving on ice.

- Professional timing so it gives a competitive edge.

Now, the best part about this is we can supply you the cars! This means that you don't have to pay for the fuel that you burn off, the tyres that you melt or even the scratch / dent if you accidentally hit a cone! No car insurance will be needed to take part, and you don't even have to hold a driving license (but knowing how to drive is a must of course!)

The downside of this is that it costs. It is estimated at about £100pp for the whole day (10 - 4) but this may increase if our costs increase. This includes everything that has been listed above, including the car.

This is taking place in South Worcestershire. If any of you are interested at all, please let me know. We are hoping to do our first day before the new year if the interest is good enough!

Sounds interesting, would be interested in the insurance details though.

Well, we will have personal liability insurance and you would have to sign a waiver form in order to enter the site. Or do you mean insurance on our cars?
