Right here we go.

2003 206 SW 1.4HDi XT

Started totally standard

Even had a mini disc player with changer! lol

1st mod was to sort out some wheels.
Boss XL300 with 205/40/17 tyres.

My friend went to collect them and when I got them I was very disappointed. Chrome peeling worst than advertised!

Then I got a SP replica fuel cap and a pug 1007 short aerial. Painted my drums black and also my front callipers red .

Then was to get my ICE. Got a kenwood headunit which I can use my USB stick, edge front comps and alpine type e 10" sub with matching amp.

Anyway in the mean time got my windows tinted.

Dark smoke on rears. They will be re done in the next few weeks as I was not happy with the finish. Also fitted a black sunstrip.

Then I got myself some wind deflectors from Welsh Ben, also dark smoke.

Fitted a momo Raptor gearknob.

SP pedals

Got a set of crystal headlights given to me. Now I have Osram Nightbreaker bulbs with SMD sidelights.

back onto steels

whilst waiting for my new wheels Very Happy

Debadged rear except for lion which will eventually be going gloss black.

Dare ST in Graphite 205/40/17

Flip key thanks to Mikey2uk

with pug badge Very Happy

Here's how it stood the other week Very Happy

Yesterday got around to fitting my cupra R front splitter and fitted my valeo headlight wiring looms so I actually get main beam to stay on Very Happy

Plans are now : -

repaint drums and maybe callipers
redo window tints.
Collecting my old wheels and going to refurb them myself Very Happy

To be honest I am not sure where to go next. Haven't got a lot of money so it might just stay like this for a while but I am happy where it is now.

COMMENTS PLEASE GUYS

the only spoiler ive seen available for the SW is the one on the Esquiss website. but Ecosse can order it in. for like £200+
same as the Devil backbox for the SW, £260ish should have got a full turbo back system.

Dan, the front looks good with the splitter Wink has anyone with a GT bumper got a splitter?

looks mint matey how much did it all set you back? did u just screw into the a pillar

#28: Re: 206SW Author: vanman_foci, Location: Barry, South Wales PostPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2010 6:25 pm
    ----
Well didn't cost me loads because i get stuff trade and my mate bought my old one.

Most expensive part was the A pillar pod as it was a custom one for a 206.

Got the pod off ebay for £32 delivered.

Gauges then are £22 for volt and £25 for boost.

So all together would cost - £80 Surprised

Slots down the bottom, then the rubber seal goes over it and a screw at the top. Had to cut a hole in the A pillar for the wires and boost pipe to come through.

THE END?

Well 2 big things.

1. This car is going to be used as a demo car on Section-59/Topgear Swansea's trade stand. So see this at some of the major shows this year.

2. As the begging of the post said this is the end of all mods. The car will stay like this for as long as I own it. I have my reasons, it might even be going back to standard.

If you want to know why just PM me and I might tell you.

Thanks for looking and hope you visit me on our tradestand.

1st show ISTS.

car is looking canny, sometimes i think i'd like an SW, all that extra room.

Know what you mean with the paint, few bits of mine has fingerprints on

Guages look brilliant on that a-pillar pod!

The only real reason why I had the SW is because 1. it's £35 to tax and 2. I like to be different Very Happy

I love the gauges, the pod looks so good. Can't belive how well it fits, just a shame it costs £30, but money well spent. PSI boost gauge is very responsive and volt gauge bounces with my music Very Happy The opening ceremony on the gauges is pretty cool as well Very Happy

Cheers for the comments. Just a shame it's stopped at this point. Would have liked to do a bit more Sad Never mind.

Going to definately keep it for this years show season Very Happy

Not really. Have a look over know and again at the boost gauge. No point in looking at volts when it's running as it just shows 14 volts even when the bass is pumping. Shows a quick drop when you turn anything on Very Happy

At night the reflect off the windscreen. the missus says they are too bright but I reckon it's because they are new and higher up Very Happy

Well lower crank pulley changed, upper tensioner, new drive belt, oil, oil filter, pollen filter, cost around £250.

New binicle plastic purchased - Cheers ANTIX Very Happy

New Richbrook gearknob Very Happy

As most of you have now seen I have purchased a bonnet bra from TWINKY. this is only used for shows or long distance driving, it cannot be kept on because the kids in my street would vandalise it. It's a proper marmatie mod! lol

Whats next?

Well I said it was the end but it's not, just going to be a long process.

FCS I think was my last show this year, possible do Trax but so many things lined up and wedding to pay for plans will be made.

I want to get it a fresh look for 2011.

This will come in the way of new wheels and a loud (hopefully) install Very Happy

Not that anyone cares. It's been a while.

Needed new tyres and couldn't afford them so swapped my Dare's for a set of these

Brand new 16's with 195/55/16 tyres. So old shagged set for brand new.

Had them on 1 day, drove better, but everytime I looked at it something was right.

So the next day took them off, and reffited my Dares.

Seen a mate who fitted 2 brand new tyres for a bargain of £70 for the pair fitted! the tread pattern looks so aggresive on it Very Happy

No pics as I ain't paid my bill on my BB but will get pics hopefully next week Very Happy

THAT IS ALL
