First fault is the indicators, sometimes they won't cancel when you knock it off yourself e.g the stalk seems to be very sensitive. Also when you go over a bump in the road or something the indicators make a flash/click.


I had same fault as yours on pug 206 yr 2003.
It turned out to be this ( I think its called com 2000)

which cost me £250 to have it replaced by main dealer, It only took them 30 minutes.

It doesn't matter now. I sold the 206 on at the start of the week for the same as what I bought it for. Needed too much doing to it.

Still have my 206 GLX though. Very Happy

I have the same problem on my 1999 1.4 206....the Speed counter just jerks while driving as if it is trying to move but its stuck...sometimes im driving with 70km/h and shows me 20...and somethims it goes up to 70 and when i stop it stays up there...
