Hi,

I have a 206 van and I need to replace the rear carpet. The original one supplied by Peugeot is thin and ok but I have spilt something on it form going to the tip and I cant get rid of the smell!!

I would like to replace this with something of the same material that normal car mats are made from. Does anyone know where I can get this material from? I'd imagine a 2m x 2m piece will be ok and I could use the old piece as a template to cut from or an alternative is the rubber mat material and again I would cut it myself to fit. I have searched the web for 206 van load liners but they dont seem to make them.

How about using a bit of rubber flooring?

Plenty of places supply it on a roll, maybe a cheap offcut will do the job?

The carpet I used to have in the back of the van had like a rough plastic/rubber on the back of it similar to the grippy stuff on the back of mats. Not sure what it's called though.

You could check with Northantsben and see if he can help you out with anything.

Edit. This is the place I used to get mats from, so you might be able to get an idea from them
