#1: *Squeak* *Squeak* *Squeak* from the engine bay Author: bisphenol-a, Location: AntarcticaPosted: Wed Dec 07, 2011 8:04 am ---- i get really nice squeaking from the front whenever the engine bay experiences vibrating, jolting or any shaking.
that means every time i start the car, with all the combustion going on in that split second causing the shaking of the engine block...... i get squeaks, like something loosing is moving together with the front of the car.
when im cruising on 5th without any change in speeds, constant motion.. no squeaks.
then again when im cruising on any gear and i blip the throttle to give it a momentary increase in speed and releasing it back to its original level, it squeaks. so like if im at 60km/h and i step more gas to go up to 61/62 and releasing it back to 60 all in a split second, i get the squeaks.
if i drive over a bad batch of road, undulating lanes i get that sometimes too.
i get it occasionally when i do gear changes on spirited driving..
i have been really busy lately to find the time to bring it down to the garage so im just wondering if im driving a time bomb here. it does sound like the squeaks went up a decibel just a few days back. i should be safe right?
