I am pleased to know that it has now been been sorted.
I had also missed it due to its colour being same as the casing.
If the colour of the transponder was different, then we would have noticed it more easily.

Newer style remote fobs from PSA Peugeot / Citroen the transponder immobiliser chip is part of the actual remote printed circuit board.

Most definitely........even when i opened the key back up, and pointed it out to my other half he said the same.....he thought due to the colour it was part of the plastic casing! make them red i say lol

its good they have now made them part of the circuit board.....will save a lot of people from making the same mistake me thinks lol
