I am pleased to know that it has now been been sorted.
I had also missed it due to its colour being same as the casing.
If the colour of the transponder was different, then we would have noticed it more easily.
Newer style remote fobs from PSA Peugeot / Citroen the transponder immobiliser chip is part of the actual remote printed circuit board.

i just thought you changed the circuit board and the blade.....didnt realise about the little black transponder actually didnt notice it! re opened the new and old keys and changed it and the car started no problems............thank god for you guys on here
