#1: A history of motoring 2005-2011 Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Fri Dec 09, 2011 5:48 am ---- Saw a few people do this so i thought i would make one as well.
This is my motoring history from when i passed my driving test at 17 in 2005 to the present day.
Here we go!!
July 2005
Peugeot 106 (1995) Mardi Gras 1.1
Being 17 you have to chav up your car so added a sunstrip, light masks and LED windscreen washers... I look back now and cringe lol also debadged it and added some corner splitter things on the front (cant find pics of this), chavtastic!!!
So what happened to the 106? I didnt put any oil in it and the engine seized up so it had to go to car heaven.
prepare yourselves for this one!!
August 2006
Honda Jazz (1985) 1.3
This was something else! It was 2 years older than i was and it drove flawlessly it was actually awesome lol.
September 2006
Ford Fiesta (1995) Ghia 1.3
Sold the Jazz to some mental old woman and started using the Fiesta that was sitting on my driveway but had no MOT until now. This is probably one of the most battered cars i have ever seen. Both wing mirros got kicked off, someone crashed into the back of it and drove off during the night, someone jumped on the bonnet and kicked the front wings in... nothing some gaffa tape couldnt fix though lol. Dont have many pics of this car for obvious reasons.
This isnt the actual car but its very similar
Got some alloy wheels for it for some reason...
September 2007
Vauxhall Corsa B 5 door (1997) 1.4
This was my mums old car which I only really used to get to uni and back. Dont have any pics of this but it was a very reliable car.
Looked like this
March 2008
Honda Civic Sport (2005) 1.6
After giving up on uni i got a full time job and got this sexy beast
This was a great car and i do miss it. Decided to sell it for something a bit faster...
January 2009
Audi TT 225 (2002) 1.8Turbo
Loved this car but it started to rape me on petrol and insurance
July 2009
Fiat Punto (2008) 1.2 Active
Couldnt keep up with the fuel costs for the audi so decided to get a smaller engined newer car and this is what i chose... why, i do not know lol.
I liked the look of this car but after a while it just felt so cheap and nasty i started to hate it.
January 2010
Honda CRX Del Sol (1994)
I decided that i was going to go back to uni so i sold the punto and put some of the money forward for my fees. And with the rest of it I bought this..
It had a B18C4 engine conversion from an integra and it flew. Also had the electric roof which was amazing in the summer and was quite a piece of over-engineering.
Unfortunatley it started to develop a few problems and its MOT was coming up and i was fairly sure it was going to fail so i had to get rid
July 2010
Peugeot 206 (2002) 1.4 GLX
So got rid of the CRX and got the GLX. Had a good time with this 206 and put a lot of money into it, just a shame it was all pointless and the car was pretty f****d lol looked nice though....
It went from this...
To this...
July 2011
Peugeot 206 (2004) 1.1 Style
And finally we come to my current car!
Pleased with this car, obviously i would like something fast again but with the cost of fuel and being a student i really cane afford it... maybe in the future..
The future?
Who knows.....
(bit optimistic i know :P)
Anyway thanks for looking hope you enjoyed it
