#1: Door and wing repair - easiest way and costs...? Author: D4NTP, Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!Posted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:01 pm ---- As is typical, the check strap had snapped, dented the door and rippled the edge of the wing on the passenger side.
Its been like it since i bought it but its started to irritate me now.
Has anyone had this repaired?
As its a track car im not looking for a top class job but any examples of quotes would be useful.

#3: Re: Door and wing repair - easiest way and costs...? Author: D4NTP, Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!Posted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:19 pm ---- if i could find them, id have them!
Currently the plan is to strighten the wing, fill it and the door then try find a cheap bodyshop/man with sprayer, big garage, no account book to spray it up.

Hate spending money on it as it is, let alone for cosmetics! surely a replacement door and wing would cost more?

#11: Re: Door and wing repair - easiest way and costs...? Author: Matt, Posted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:42 pm ---- Put it this way. To repair you are looking at £200 min. Average cost is £100 per panel. Can get 2nd hand door and wing for £100, maybe less.
I got a door in my correct colour recently for £20. So it can be done if you wait and keep your eyes peeled.
