#1: ipod connector in standard head Author: m4tth3w, Location: sheffieldPosted: Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:29 pm ---- Before I go to the effort of taking out my standard 2001 206 gti head unit can someone tell me if it will take a ipod connector lead, does it have inputs?
I already have a disc changer fitted, not sure what that plugs into though.

It's just that I'm a big fan of keeping everything standard as it's less noticeable to thieving scum.
A ripspeed cmr2000 head unit which is halfords own brand is a good option, they were selling them refurbished for less than 50 quid a couple of years back, I had 2 for mine and the Missis and you could put memory card, usb, 3.5 mm jack, cd mp3
