#1: urgent advice needed Author: steve-1965, Location: stoke on trentPosted: Wed Dec 21, 2011 5:44 am ---- Hi all, I own 53 plate 1.1, yesterday the engine light came on and the car was running really rough (3 cylinders). Suspect coil pack, so removed today along with plugs. Connected plugs to pack and earthed them out. Turened engine over and all 4 got a good spark. Do I bite the bullet and replace coil pack? Any other ideas?

Stupidest thing you could ever do with a modern ignition system like the 206 uses.
