#1: 406 auto dim mirror ruined my radio Author: Dansinclair11, Location: Partridge greenPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 3:10 am ---- a couple of days ago, i put in a 406 rear view mirror, soldered into the ignition live and negative from the interior light, to which i also have a couple of led strips, all was going well until last night the other half wanted to read something inside the car so turned on the light. at this point the light went on then straight off, the radio turned off as did the clock and the little light on the mirror. then the battery light lit up on the dash. i have now unwired the 406 mirror in hope that it would fix all. it hasn't and it seems my radio will now only come on when the lights are on. please someone know that i have done and help me fix? thankyou

My multiplexed 206 has had a auto dim mirror fitted 2+ years, never had a problem with it.
