Track Car Project and parts for sale:
Red 1999 Pug 206 2.0 GTI
No MOT and No Tax (Currently Sorned)
Private Plate included - L40 RAX
Car has been stripped internally and all parts not need for the car to run have been sold.
The dash, dials, indicators and controls etc are still there.
Heater matrix water pipes and air con pipes have been capped inside the engine bay.
Electrics for rear lights etc have been fully rewired to run down passengers side.
17" alloys
Steering wheel & boss
Haynes Manual
Push button starter
Technix fully adjustable coilovers, top mounts and rear shocks
Luke 3 Point Harness
Pair of Brembo Calipers and nearly new pads
3" Rolled Tip Exhaust
Went down tonight to sign over the car to me and arrange getting it moved to my house but whilst i was there couldnt resist bringing the brembo calipers and colivers home which are probably worth more than the £310 i paid for everything, so all in all i reckon i got a bargain.
When i get it up the road tuesday im gonna stick my spare seats in it and hopefully get it booked in for an mot as i believe you dont actually need a dashboard to pass an mot?

Cheeky! this one does run just lacks interior lol! my blue ones nearly there aswell ecu is being sent to bluehawk to get unlocked then local auto electrician to get wiring loom done
brembo calipers and coilovers are going on my blue 1 aswell as the gti doesnt really need bigger brakes.

Just transporting it to where I am would cost about £300 so it wasn't feasable.

#11: Re: Johnk other gti project Author: johnk, Location: Fife, ScotlandPosted: Sat Mar 20, 2010 2:37 pm ---- yeah just really need the wires to make it run, bit gutted the guy i bought it off has cut the wiring for the electric mirrors and windows off! which ill be needing the windows to open so trip to the scrapyard is needed i think.
#12: Re: Johnk other gti project Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Sat Mar 20, 2010 3:41 pm ---- Aye probably. I have an interior loom kicking about for something (think it's from a gti-180) I think myself/graham will have mashed the wiring to give to the people who want the mirrors anyway
Careful with what you go about cutting in burnside, they seem to be awful strict these days
