Remap it, have the FAP removed and when your clutch/flywheel goes change it to single mass
that the only down fall to them
with the above mods you should see 130bhp

so you need to do a couple of long journeys now and then? also how do you check the eloys fluid? and what is always brim it whaen refueling? do you mean fill the tank to the top? if so why?
#14: Re: just bought a 2005 1.6 hdi gti. looking for advice and info Author: Seabook, Posted: Sun Jan 01, 2012 9:45 am ---- yes, the filter need to reach certain temp to carry out regeneration, do not rev. the engine during regeneration; 50mph@5th gear is more than enough.
think you need proper dia. tools to do that.
yes, full tank every time. because the system automatically inject the fix amount of eloys fluid whenever you put fuel in
#15: Re: just bought a 2005 1.6 hdi gti. looking for advice and i Author: vauxfan, Location: yorkPosted: Sun Jan 01, 2012 9:50 am ---- how do you now when it is regenerating? and if you do a few 50mph journeys it will stay clean? how long should you do this speed for(how many miles?) and how often?
