That torsion bar arrangement is more advanced than your current torsion beam setup!

but my torsion beam means i can go round corners faster without cocking a leg, the back end kicking out or any roll! i can also have different set up in spring and dampering rates, although the Cup setup doesnt need changing

See you at blyton on the 29th, i'll happily show you the backend of a torsion bar.....

Read the tyre test.

New / tyres with the most tread should ALWAYS be fitted to the REAR axle Wink

(so your tyres last longer and make the company look good Wink )

I would always have them on the front, would rather loose the back end then have no steering, breaking Laughing

And its all down to budget I would say yoko S drive for money, grip and life

You need the best grip on the REAR axle not the front Wink

I always put new on the front, as I've been through two and half sets of tyres on the front to one set on the rear Laughing

I always get Parada Spec 2's, I think they are fine in the wet, and the tread pattern is cool Cool Laughing

I think the idea is you take the part worn rears, fit them at the front then put the new ones on the rear.

Yeah I know, but might as well just put the new ones on the front rather than messing around all the time and paying to have tyres swapped.

Wouldnt you just swap the wheels round?

Parada's are sh*t in any condition, very soft sideways and no grip no matter what car so please rule those out, For a budget option the Falken 912's are very good or the 532, you;ve got to go a long way up the chain to get anything better

No, because if you have kerbing on one wheel (usually the passengers front), you don't wanna risk kerbing every wheel

I love spec 2's, never had a problem with them except the snow but not many tyres are good in that weather!
