Looking good, I think if you take a picture of the splitter from a different angle it might look better, I think the head on picture is what's making it look iffy. Rest of it looks well!!

are your lights OE? or are they aftermarket equipment? also they look quite bright, what bulbs have you got or are they HID?

They are devil eyes. I think its the smd sidlights making them look really bright. I only have osram nightbreaker+ bulbs fitted.

Front looks awful.

Get a normal grille, lose the splitter and the odd silver wiper cap

If someone said to me "I have a modified estate car" I'd say they're bonkers and mad, but this doesn't look too shabby for an SW.

The tyre size is 205/50/16. They are my winter wheels though, the vortexs will be going on after they have been refurbed and when the weather picks up Smile

lol Thanks Smile

Im hoping to get it squeaky clean ready for the shows. I think im going to stick to something clean and OEM looking.

I've put the badged front grill back on and the upper SP grills. So I've got the complete SP set fitted (Except arches) but im not sure if I want the arches or not.

the only few issues i have with your car are:

its an estate, i never have liked estates
you should have gotten the chrome version of the led side repeaters (i have the same ones as you), would have suited the car better.

besides that it looks good, dont let others get you down as i have said on many a forum, its your car and your tastes, no matter what others think. and of course i will have oppinions, like im sure everyone has on my car. but then im doing it my way, as thats what i want.

also devil eyes are cool, just not sure about the light output, ty for the pics.

lol. nothing i can do about it being an estate im afraid Razz
i did bid on some silver ones but when the auction ended they said they only had black left. they were cheap so i agreed to have them and i can always sell them when i come accross some silver ones Smile

im happy with it. its very standard looking now with little mods im just working on keeping it clean Smile

I don't know why but I just think the Vortex's don't suit it, They just look a bit out of place IMO. I think it may be because of the lower profile tyres and the biggish gap though. Other wise Nath looking s**t hot.

#50: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Lowercase, Location: East Sussex PostPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:33 pm

bit too 'much' for my liking, loose the eyebrows, arches and silver splitter imo. looks a bit like you didnt know what to do with it so just put everything on it.

not meant in any offensive way, just looks far too busy to me

wheels and stance are spot on though, maybe even a bit lower Wink

#51: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Abzynthe PostPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:38 pm
    ----
Thanks for your opinions, I can see what your saying Smile

I think if it was a bit lower then Vortexs would look better with it.
There is alot on it, and I sort of felt the same way. But it grew on me, its no different from alot of peoples cars on here Wink

To me, I think the front bumper would look really short if I took the splitter off, and I quite like the eyebrows Smile

Can you get aftermarket rear light's for the SW?

Not that Im aware of Sad The only think Ive seen are masks from FK but they dont look that good.

Cant find the link Sad

It's a shame, Might get a set and have a play with them see if I can CC them or something, Would certainly be different.

#55: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Abzynthe PostPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 3:07 pm
    ----
Yeah I was thinking of doing something, like getting some motorbike lenses and cutting some holes and putting them in and colour coding the rest, a bit like rear morettes, but sw rear lights arent cheap Sad

The reflectors arent an issue though as they are in the bumper Smile

#56: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Matt PostPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 4:20 pm
    ----
In my opinion:

You need a cc'd boot fill
Loose the arches because the rear ones don't look like the fit properly (back edge)
Loose the silver splitter and find a black one the same
Loose the eyebrows or have them same colour as the car, the glitter paint just looks like a poor colour match

Other than that it looks nice. Think the vortex make it look a bit more sporty and a bit less "family" if that makes sense lol
