#49: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: -Dave-, Location: North ManchesterPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:33 pm ---- I don't know why but I just think the Vortex's don't suit it, They just look a bit out of place IMO. I think it may be because of the lower profile tyres and the biggish gap though. Other wise Nath looking s**t hot.
#50: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:33 pm ---- bit too 'much' for my liking, loose the eyebrows, arches and silver splitter imo. looks a bit like you didnt know what to do with it so just put everything on it.
not meant in any offensive way, just looks far too busy to me
wheels and stance are spot on though, maybe even a bit lower
#51: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:38 pm ---- Thanks for your opinions, I can see what your saying
I think if it was a bit lower then Vortexs would look better with it.
There is alot on it, and I sort of felt the same way. But it grew on me, its no different from alot of peoples cars on here
To me, I think the front bumper would look really short if I took the splitter off, and I quite like the eyebrows
#52: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: -Dave-, Location: North ManchesterPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 2:53 pm ---- Can you get aftermarket rear light's for the SW?
#53: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon May 07, 2012 3:00 pm ---- Not that Im aware of The only think Ive seen are masks from FK but they dont look that good.
Cant find the link
#54: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: -Dave-, Location: North ManchesterPosted: Mon May 07, 2012 3:02 pm ---- It's a shame, Might get a set and have a play with them see if I can CC them or something, Would certainly be different.
#55: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon May 07, 2012 3:07 pm ---- Yeah I was thinking of doing something, like getting some motorbike lenses and cutting some holes and putting them in and colour coding the rest, a bit like rear morettes, but sw rear lights arent cheap
The reflectors arent an issue though as they are in the bumper
#56: Re: Abzynthe: 206 SW Quicksilver Author: Matt, Posted: Mon May 07, 2012 4:20 pm ---- In my opinion:
You need a cc'd boot fill
Loose the arches because the rear ones don't look like the fit properly (back edge)
Loose the silver splitter and find a black one the same
Loose the eyebrows or have them same colour as the car, the glitter paint just looks like a poor colour match
Other than that it looks nice. Think the vortex make it look a bit more sporty and a bit less "family" if that makes sense lol
