Just got the car back and it was a fuel injector, cars running a lot smoother than ever and yeah! Check it out GLX.

Thanks for that mate.

I tried new spark plugs today, fail.

Anyway, we presumed it had to be the fuel injector, so my uncle grabbed me some fuel injector cleaning fluid... (the type that goes in your petrol tank) ...hopefully that'll see a bit of improvement on the driveability side. If not, i'll get it into the garage again for a replacement fuel injector.

Thanks for keeping us updated!

Don't use injector cleaner like redex, use premium fuel.

Redex does more harm than good in the long run.

It's a bit late now, it's already in the tank! What harm will it do mate?

Once you use it, you are supposed to keep using it. It's in the fine print for the product.

No damage if you use it just once, I tried it and didn't make a difference

What happens if you stop using it then?

Surely if whatever it is clogging/blocking the injector will have gone?

Does something to the lining on the injectors I think

Nothing will happen if you use it once and then stop, I did - 5000 miles later I'm fine
