So, what you are saying is that I am not entilted to my own opinion?
"Looks like you have a really nice finish on the bonnet. And I don't know if you have noticed, but the calipers match the colour of the tint on the headlamps. Yes you're correct. The calipers are yellow, and so are the lights. It's a shame the car is green, the bonnet is black, the lions are red, the 'boot build' is hideous, the valve caps are bl000dy awful and the stickers are cheap and tacky."
I didn't mention anything about the yellow being the same colour as the car.
"Don't know why people bother commenting when they are just taking the p**s..... I was always taught that if you don't like something, just say. Or don't say anything at all! You were taught wrong. p***ies were taught that. If you don't like something, then you are within your rights to say something. No, I wasn't taught wrong. I was taught to be polite actually. And yes, expect a bit of criticism... but what you people say isn't "a bit of criticism" it is really harsh and when it you run out of things to say about the car, you start getting personal. (but I suppose that is the 'going down in flames'?)
"And as for the spelling/grammer insults... Give it up people, that is just nasty and personal. There is no need. My other half is dyslexic, and you have no idea how much effort it takes to try and write well. It's not nasty, nor personal. 1) Yes it is nasty and personal. It isn't difficult to decipher what is being said is it?
2) I do apologize for the spelling error
3) My partner is a He, not a She (quite suprised that driving a CC didn't give that away?)
4) How dare you suggest that he is just lazy! You clearly have no idea how difficult it is for a dyslexic person to write well (as I said before) but, by what you wrote, I guess you are just ignorant.
"She is filthy though! She may be dyslexic, but there's no need to patronise her like this... "
I will leave that, as I can see you are trying to pull a funny by playing on my words
"Will have to come and see it sometime soon in the daylightI'd much rather not see it "

I know loads of dyslexic people, and 9 out of 10 can read and write fine it just takes them a little longer. The difference is, they aren't lazy and are willing to put in the effort, instead of going "sorry for my spelling, I'm dyslexic"
#40: Re: people not goin like but owell Author: Martind, Location: Woolsery, North DevonPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:44 pm ---- Like I say, I am just going to leave it. We will just agree to disagree.
Going back to the original point, I just find it nasty that when he puts up a post, a lot of you comment saying some harsh things (unnecessarily harsh in my opininon) and when you run out of things to say about the car, you start on his spelling and grammar. This is consistant throughout most of his posts.
#41: Re: people not goin like but owell Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:53 pm ---- Truth hurts.

#44: Re: people not goin like but owell Author: Martind, Location: Woolsery, North DevonPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 1:11 pm ---- That is because you aren't one of the people who get nasty.
You just say what you like/don't like and move on.
The "You" wasn't meant to be directed at you personally. I can see how my meaning was misunderstood as that is what I said. It was directed to the people who do post the nasty things online.

Yes anyways why slate? I mean seriously why? Everyone has a different veiw on the word 'modify', as lets take your car for example its a niche inside a niche and you slate someone thats different?
And for the point you made 'you would say it to his', you did make me actually p**s myself with pure laughter. By no means would you go up to a random stranger and starting slagging off his car, every action has a reaction (aka a good hiding, or bottling). Would you personally enjoy it? Just STFU and stay away from you keyboard for once
I would tell a stranger to their face if I didn't like their car. What world do you live in where people hide/bottle people for voicing their opinion? When he put his white alloys on I made a positive comment saying how much better it made the car look. Its not as if i'm just being a p***k and jumping on the band wagon. The yellow headlights look crap and I'm saying so, as have everybody else.
Stay away from my keyboard for once? How often do you see me making offensive remarks to anybody?

You may say opinion, but everyone inturepts modifying differently so rather than slate just stay quiet? At least its better than what a standard 1.9d would look like and does it not stand out from the crowd?
Opinion makes his car hideous. I'm not saying mine isn't. I'm sure there are many people who think my 206 is hideous, and they are more than welcome to tell me on my thread.
I was just making the point that I'm not the kind of person who just sits behind a screen and says things I wouldn't in person.
Plus, if no one slated his car, he wouldn't get any comments.
Ahhh you do make me laugh
Yes anyways why slate? I mean seriously why? Everyone has a different veiw on the word 'modify', as lets take your car for example its a niche inside a niche and you slate someone thats different?
And for the point you made 'you would say it to his', you did make me actually p**s myself with pure laughter. By no means would you go up to a random stranger and starting slagging off his car, every action has a reaction (aka a good hiding, or bottling). Would you personally enjoy it? Fat chance you would, so simply

Course you would mate
Has that got the same truth when i say the pope steals little kids at night?
People get bottle for a lot less now a days, for example just recently a friend of mine was due to spilling another lasses drink. You have to love alcohol filled anger
Plus yellow headlights are a such a good idea, if you researched into the different aspects of modifying you would understand why it is a good idea.
Might i ask did you make a remark about his car that was offensive? Yes, it doesnt need to be about a person

Marty boy, post some pics of your CC so we can be just as opinionated with your car as we are with the little green shed.
Well, no. Having a cabrio doesn't MAKE you gay. Having sex with men does though.
Pics of the CC are in the photoshoot section... titled "1st post with pics of the CC"
I think it would be hard to slate it, seeing as for now it is completley standard visibly. (Except for Chrome Roll Hoops, an Exhaust and a Sport Honeycomb grill)
I am aware that in the pics the alloys on the rear look a bit scabby, they are awaiting refurb.

In that case, myself, Addaz and Lee are gay, we've been known to have the odd "carpark threesome" after dark

So I'm meant to go round telling people I like their car in fear of a bottling? Yes, yellow headlights may be a good idea, doesn't mean they look good. How many people do you see with black radiators in their homes?
For your information, I was bottled a few years ago just because I was walking through a park. They were p**sed and drugged up. So yeah, I know what thats like.
Look, I'm not here to argue with anyone. I'm just voicing my opinion. Something a lot more people than me do on here. Why don't you rant at them too. I very rarely say anything negative to people on here.

No you dont, you just do the really random thing of KEEPING IT TO YOURSELF, everyone has different veiws on how everything is interupted, you just cant seem to grasp that?
But yes black radiators would look the actual tits on a opposing colour scheme matched to the sofas.
