Shock absorber is the correct name for the spring

#11: Re: Can anyone recommend some uprated rear shocks? Author: D4NTP, Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!Posted: Sun Jan 08, 2012 3:20 pm ---- It depends what your trying to achieve. I run standard gti shocks on track and it handles just as i want it too.
If your not after any specific improvements then stay standard, or if you want to mod for the sake of it (which is perfectly alright to do!) then just look for a good deal on any uprated shocks, might find a bargain!

The way to go!
I don't know if gti rear dampers are any better than ones from the 1.4 but definately look out for bargains. When you look on ebay, try alternate keywords when you search, you wouldn't beleive how people list SP arches as 'spats' and you would never find them otherwise
