Well my first problem On puggy finally happened and my clutch went just wondered what an average price for getting a garage to supply and fit one was

Looking around £300 on average.

W reg, 1.6 petrol. LuK repset £65, Local Garage quote £100 to fit,
Got a mates son who knows how to work spanners £60
Job done,,,,,,,,,,,,total cost £125

I paid £250 for my 1.4's, thats including the clutch kit, gearbox oil, labour and some engine oil (needed topping up so got them to do it)

Mines is a gti clutch I've been quoted £420 all in £100 for the clutch and £320 for labour

mines in now being done :/ its a 180 and is costing me £350 all in Surprised

Well I got the car back and Its running sweet as just need to replace two topmounts and droplinks and she's gonna be running perfect

Hell. I paid 75 (trade) for a LUK clutch kit and 100 to fit.
