Yeah its a strange one, i accel up to 70 quite nicely still in 4th gear but beyond 70 its quite slow. Ive also had the Antipollutiuon Fault up again, drove 5 miles to a friends house and 2 hours later i started it up to drive home and no fault appeared! Now im off to the garage tomorrow, im just hoping this fault stays on when i get there! Unless the codes are recorded by the ECU? Its only come on since i had the full service?

no worries, the code will be stored in the ECU.

So it turns out they only found a fault with the EGR valve solenoid (i think thats what he said) He told me the car was definitely under powered, he said give the solenoid thingy a few taps with a hammer to help release it, he then took if for a drive and said it was all ok now. YEAH RIGHT! I took it home and it was the same old s**t i had in the beginning! I can t imagine that something to do9 with the EGR valve is to blame, i mean lets face it everyone recommends removing the pipe anyhow?

Back to square one! With a s***ty intermittent Antipollution Fault Sad

"antipollution fault" means it could be anything at all lol its like someone saying "im ill"... like yeah but what with? lol

did he clear the fault code? unless he did it would pop back up again (probably)

Yeah i was watching what he was doing on the tablet of his , even though he was flying through the menus. I did read a few 'Fault Cleared' Messages pop up, so im guessing he did. But in saying that, ive just popped out with the car and guess what, Antipollution fault! This cars is beginning to p**s me right off!

clearing the fault code without fixing the problem of course won't work....

if the EGR is leaking then no wonder you will have no power

or did you un-plug the egr?

Nah ive not unplugged the EGR, the mechanic was pretty sure its the solenoid connected to the EGR thats at fault. Maybe itll be worth buying a new one and trying that?

if it stuck open then it make sense to get a new one.

aye, i guess itll be a start to try and pinpoint this problem. I mean, they're relatively cheap in terms of other things that may be a t fault, and it doesnt look too difficult to fit either. So ill give that a go! Cheers guys! Will keep you posted!

Hey guys just a quick update to this thread. So i booked my car into a Peugeot garage today and they managed to diagnose my problem with having a faulty Air Flow Sensor, typical! My car is now working as normal and im now a happy chappy :). Although not so happy with the bill! Robbing b******s! Sad
