#1: S222Chan WIP: Project 5-Door *New Update: 18/05/11 - Page 2* Author: S222Chan, Location: Northampton/Somerset PostPosted: Mon Mar 15, 2010 2:34 pm
    ----
Took a moment to think about what i had done to my car, which i somehow lost track of Confused
So i thought i'd make a thread to share with everyone and also help me keep track Very Happy
Anyway's here goes:

Got the car on August 16th 2009,
It's a 2000 V-Reg 1.4 LX 5-Door in EYC Silver Cool
Also my first car Very Happy

As you can see it was bog standard, which it stayed, until the start of October 2009, where i got my first mod Smile

Alloy Wheels Very Happy Was soooo chuffed with my first mod

Then came round my 18th Birthday (25th october Wink )
Where my Bro and Sis got me my own personal plate Very Happy

My Bro already had one, hence he picked what it said Cool Here's one with with our cars at the time, The Pug and Cupra R!

(Cupra has now been sold for a Suburu P1, as he misses the Jap ways of his old EVO VI Razz )

Then came xmas and my bro got me a MOMO Gearknob and donated some of his old I.C.E stuff to me, (From his boy racer days Laughing )

MOMO Cool

By this time i had also managed to collect myself a few parts, like a GTI spoiler, Phase 2 Headlights (Crystals) Phase 2 Bootstrip, Sp Pedals and a stubby aerial, which was now starting to collect dust in my room Sad
So i had them sprayed and fitted by the Middle January Very Happy

It stayed like this for most of February, Except i had finally got round to sticking my info Sticker on my rear windscreen (Dedication Cool )

Then came end of the month and i had finally managed to get myself these:

Cool

Finally got them sprayed and fitted around the second week of March Smile

I even managed to solve my exhaust issue, in which i wanted a nicer looking tailpipe, but without wanting to buy another backbox as i didnt want the noise Smile ( Wound do my nut in on motorway journeys Confused )

And here's how it stands atm:

Thought i would also take a pic of my LED side lights and Rear Number Plate Lights:

So From this:

To This (atm)

Future Plans:
Sp Arches(Maybe)
Black SP Kit (Maybe)
Get I.C.E (Alpine Type R's Very Happy ) Sorted
Cupra Splitter
Phase 2 Rear Lights or FK M3's
...Dunno What else so far

Don't think im going to lower It as im still in college, and they have MAHOOSIVE speed bumps getting into the car park.... Confused

More Updates to come Smile
Comments Welcome + Hope you guys like Wink

-Sam

Looks really good that mate! Nice clean example!

What backbox you got in the end? I might be after something subtle like that without getting an aftermarket one Smile

Also, I'd be tempted to either de-badge the back or put on a phase 2 lion on the boot Very Happy

Couple questions mate:

1) Before you got your exhaust tip welded on, was your exhaust pipe like bent, so like facing diagonally downwards? Because i think mine is :S
2) How much did peugeot charge to weld it on total?
3) Does it make it sound any better lol!!!

*Major Update*

Hi everyone...... Very Happy
Only Just realised i hadn't updated since April Shocked

Here Goes:

Over the summer I focused on getting my I.C.E sorted, so i saved up and finally got myself:
Genesis Profile 4 Amp
Genesis profile 16 Front Components

And some sound deadening to fully make use of those comps! Wink
Silent Coat Starter Kit + 2 extra Sheets

so i got to work replacing my old amp with my new P4 and installing the front comps, while deadening the doors. I also had manual mirrors, so i drilled a small hole to create a snug fit for my new tweeters Cool
At this time i also had my front console sprayed the same colour as my car Smile

No pics of the Deadening sadly or the front console.....

This kept me busy for the summer, then i went on holiday towards the start of September (2010), then before i knew it, i was starting Uni Cool
Hence i moved up to Northampton to start at Northampton Uni, and to be honest the car has been abit neglected by me, but not forgotten Wink

November came by, my Birthday had just passed and thought my car deserved a treat, so i bought a new cupra splitter for it (YES i know, but i like em Laughing )

*12/12/10*

Right been busy the past month and had only just recently fitted my cupra splitter and rearranged my amp and sub. A trip down to Milton Keynes the other weekend had meant my car was now FILTHY!

So today i was free and took it as a chance to get the car cleaned and take some pics Very Happy (Pics of newly arranged boot will come later Wink )

Please Note car is on lower ground to drive, hence front bumper looks low Cool

And my Attempt at some "Arty" Shots

Plans

SP Arches
New Exhaust Back Box
Spray Mirrors Gloss Black (maybe Bump Strips as well)
a pug lion badge for the boot???

Still undecided about lowering Confused

Anyways not much to update, but getting there Smile
All comments welcome

-Sam
