Might be abit short notice but at lunch i was giving the car its final once over before its MOT this afternoon (due at 4pm)!
I have the LED rear lights ('Sperm' type), and when the car is switched off and the lights are on its fine. When the car is then started with the lights still on, they cut out.
However, sometimes they cut out, sometimes the drivers light comes on and the passengers does not, sometimes they both stay on fine.
They flicker when starting the car with them on as well.
I tried to find another power source to run the lights with from the multiplug in the back but no joy!
Checked the pins and they seem fine on the plugs and even checked the earth on the C pillar too (rubbed down and reattached)!
Any one got any ideas as to what it could be?
I did a search but the closest thing i can up with was.....
and i dont have any time to strip the units and find the resistor
(Its a 53 reg 1.4 HDI with auto lights).
Any advice welcome!

I think that it happens quite a lot of the time in 206's if you start the car with lights already on. Pretty sure i read that somewhere. But if you start the car then turn lights on, they are fine.

I disconnected the amp power cable from the battery and connected to the side light. I then connected the other end of the amp power cable to the small yellow wire on the rear light connector. This seemed to have solved the problem, however when i got to the mt place, all the guy did was switch the lights on and off and said that was fine! Didnt even try turning the car on and off with the lights on (not that i was going to point that out)!
Anywho, my temporary mod has been put back to normal so will investigate over the next fewnweeks to try and pinpoint the issue!
