#1: gti 180 timing Author: chris83rfc, Location: scotlandPosted: Wed Jan 25, 2012 7:59 am ---- I put my gti 180 into a garage to get timing belt/ water pump done on thursday the 19th feb and still not got it back, they say they are having a problem with the timing, anyone else had this? cheers chris

Get it to a Peugeot dealer or specialist then charge the garage for the work.

It sounds like they havnt been able to time it properly.
As i say take it to Peugeot and get them to confirm that and then bill the company that messed the work up in the first place.

The word "b******s" springs to mind lol, its running bad because they havnt done the job right, was it down on power before it went in?

its not the 180's fault people can't time it properly it is awkward
