#1: Squeaking noise from the rear Author: Jammie_1989, Location: ManchesterPosted: Wed Jan 25, 2012 12:12 pm ---- Car has just been in the garage today and had a bushes done so I know its not those as its been squeaking for a few weeks now.
The noise will sometimes be there and sometimes it goes for a day or so without it. It starts off sounding like a single hamster running round a wheel then gradually turns into 1000 hamsters running round a wheel.
I have been searching and have checked the exhaust and the rear seat bolts to see if its anything to do with those and nothing has solved it.
Any ideas what else it could be? A friend seems to think it might be a bit of metal linked to the torsion bar which can be seen when the wheel is removed but just checking to see if anybody else can confirm this or has any other ideas.
Thanks
