#1: my engine management light just came on Author: frankaai, Location: BelfastPosted: Sat Jan 28, 2012 6:07 am ---- my engine management light just came on only bought the car on thursday and the guy isnt answering the phone, typical, my dad owns a garage il have to get him the plug the computer into it, where does it plug in? it seems to have lost power and there is a bit of a rattle from the engine, its a 2.0 2002, has anyone had the same problem? any advice would be great, cheers

One of the Lee's will help when they see this, they are the 'Whiz-Kids' on 206's.
My guess would be a dead MAF sensor, and a blocked/closed EGR valve. However, don't hold me on that, wait for someone to give you a more detailed answer.

Check if the codes come back, if they do, then it'll need a new MAF. Go for genuine not China specials.
