#3: Re: hartside and kirkstone pass Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:59 am ---- Great photos, the cars never do stay clean long in this weather. Lovely area to drive in around there. Last time I was up Hartside it was blazing sunshine. Cafe is handy though so you can stop and get a bite to eat while taking in the scenery.
The photos of Kirkstone remind me of a couple of years ago on my daily run through Patterdale. Ended up being the last vehicle through before the police closed the road because it was beginning to snow.

Nope. Currently a much warmer, nicer and 'all inclusive' place.

The bit after the Café (dropping into Alston) is just as fun. I do it in an Asda van, roughly every 2 weeks. if you fancy another drive up with some other info members, let me know and I will sort it.
Must be someone else's car then. :£

Somebody disturbed me yesterday.
Hey, free drinks, 24*c heat and awesome food. I'd thought I'd pop on to pity you fools.
Anyway, your car in tact yet Mr. Kingofchavs?
