#67: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: Dillon, Location: KentPosted: Mon Apr 12, 2010 8:51 am ---- Looking very good I like the colour of the wheels a lot, how about some other parts the same colour to match them?
#68: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: =ZiAn=, Location: SloveniaPosted: Fri Apr 16, 2010 3:09 am ---- Thanks guys and Amy
Nah I was thinking of doing the roof black but that would probably be a bit OTT. I'll try to keep the body parts white but I am looking into some darker headlights. @Iain I would buy those already but they would shine into the wrong direction on the road (continental Europe) As for the rear lights I know exactly what I want but I'm spending all my money on performance upgrades ATM so they'll have to wait
@freestylejamie, could you paste a link to those fog lights on ebay, I can't seem to find them
#69: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: freestylejamie, Location: East LondonPosted: Fri Apr 16, 2010 4:58 am ---- ah i cant seem 2 find em either, maybe he stopped selling em, if i find em again ill post the link up
#70: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: freestylejamie, Location: East LondonPosted: Sun Apr 18, 2010 12:07 pm ---- just found the smoked fogs up 4 sale again. heres the link, but there a 5a more expensive now
#71: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: =ZiAn=, Location: SloveniaPosted: Tue May 25, 2010 4:24 am ---- So I haven't written here in a while...well the exhaust is on, Janspeed's GTi180 that is And that thing sure does make a ROOOAR. Sometimes even a bit too much. Don't really have any good photos yet as I need to get my rear bumper repainted so we can blend the exhaust cutout in.
Anyway I've taken it to the racetrack on Friday and the little pug can move but it was raining so the times weren't very good, I hope we'll have better luck this Friday.
Some pics of the event:
Good company:
and my favorite one for all BMW drivers
I also have an in-car video, will post it up as soon as I upload it
#72: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: =ZiAn=, Location: SloveniaPosted: Tue May 25, 2010 2:24 pm ---- Here's the in-car video, a bit shaky but still okay:
and yes it's a short & very closed course but its close to home, cheap and you don't need a service after a day of driving on it. Other real circuits are a lot further down the road and a day at the track costs a lot more (so its more of a once every few months trip).
any comments?
#73: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: mattievrs, Location: LeicesterPosted: Tue May 25, 2010 2:35 pm ---- I appreciate youre in slovenia so a search on slovenian ebay would be in order but i think covering the roof with di-noc carbon film would look awesome. Its good quality stuff and wears hard too. Love the car by the way! cgi.ebay.co.uk/CHEAP-3...4aa163b16e
#74: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: =ZiAn=, Location: SloveniaPosted: Wed May 26, 2010 5:26 am ---- Thanks mattie but I'm going to keep it as OEM as possible on the outside (with a few personal touches).
#75: Re: ZiAn's pride & joy 206GTi (page 4 update) Author: =ZiAn=, Location: SloveniaPosted: Fri Jun 25, 2010 1:01 pm ---- Just came home from another track day, great day until I broke the top engine mount...Let's just say it was an interesting drive (100+ km) home...No matter we'll fix it + I'll order a few other goodies alongside with uprated engine mounts
