Peugeot 206 problem

Plugged a code reader in today and it said my car ignition coil was not working so i fitted a new coil pack and plugs engine stopped misfiring and exhaust didnt sound like it was blowing went quiet then 5 mins later same problem drove it for 10 mins and went it went past 3000 revs power kicked in then at 4000 rpm engine management light came on spark plug 4 and 1 are black and sooted carbon and 2 and 3 seem ok any 1 know what it could be Sad

Are you using the right spark plugs? Seen many times on here that NGK plugs can cause problems on the pug petrol engines.

i had the same problem and it was because i had bad spark plugs , even more so unlucky my brand new bosh plugs wer bad aswell bought some champion plugs from pug and was fine Smile

Plug in your code reader of the light has come on again like you said it has.

Maybe the 2 injectors arnt working.

Take it to a garage.
