I deal with slightly bigger Exide batteries everyday at work, I would never spend my money on one of there automotive products.
Automotive battery = Varta everytime.

Exactly the same Varta battery as I have but you have the Bosch stickers on it
#40: Re: Struggling to start Author: TY-HDI, Location: ChesterPosted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 10:20 am ---- So would you suggest swapping for a bosch s5? As they have those for around £8 more?
I went for the Exide as it had the largest CA there.
#41: Re: Struggling to start Author: TY-HDI, Location: ChesterPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2012 1:08 am ---- Well even with a brand new 640CA battery it still turns over 3-5 times before starting. Sometimes i need to turn the key back off then try again and it starts on 2nd turn.
#42: Re: Struggling to start Author: DeadEyePaul, Location: Rugby,WarwickshirePosted: Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:51 am ---- I have a Bosch s4. Works lovely
#43: Re: Struggling to start Author: TY-HDI, Location: ChesterPosted: Tue Feb 14, 2012 2:30 am ---- Is there anything else you could suggest, as the new battery seems to make no difference.
Would the fact that its due a service make any difference? Should I try the glow plugs?
