#1: PPT Type? Author: LKHtyke, Location: chesterfieldPosted: Fri Feb 10, 2012 2:36 pm ---- Hi all,i'm thinking of getting a 206 hdi (2.0) due to my daily commute to work more than doubling at the end of the month.
I am thinking of a 2003(53) or 2004 model d turbo or xsi spec car and was wondering what type of PPT is factory spec in these models, and what features they have? temp/mpg etc.
Thanks,

Trip computer / 3 line display is an easy / cheap enough retrofit on a multiplexed 206 if it doesnt already have it fitted

Is your com2000 not the type where you can just replace the end cap?

Reminds me, i must fix my com fault
I have the cap looks like a button on the wiper stalk side, but not sure if I can take it off,can I?
Some com units you can just remove the end part of the stalk with the cap inside & replace it with 1 with the button fitted.
The other type of com you cant, its replace the complete unit.
mmmm..and how can I be sure what model is mine?how it can be removed, twist it,or pull it out!

If its the type you can remove the end then there clipped on, clips also break very easily
Stick a picture up of the wiper stalk.

#10: Re: PPT Type? Author: PaddyC, Location: IrelandPosted: Fri Feb 10, 2012 3:47 pm ---- Mine had the button on the indicator stalk and no button just a cap on the wiper stalk. A thin narrow blade helped pop both out and then swopped them over. Took all of 60 seconds. Then the button now on the wiper stalk should let you scroll through the display options if the BSI has the function installed. Fortunately, mine did.
