Mines doing the same, my passenger door wouldnt shut 1 morning due to the cold. And now it wont lock at all. Had a play with the boot mech and it worked but now doesnt again. Im certain its one of the door mechs on mine. They are easy to take out but im unsure how to test to see whick 1 it is.

My drivers door lock did the same last month. I took it out and gave it a good clean and plenty of WD-40 and hey presto it was fine after that. I decided to lube the other 3 locks as sometimes one of them would bounce, they're all fine now too. There could be some water in the lock that has frozen which is causing the problem. If you've got a long enough extension lead and a hair dryer try warming them to melt the ice and see what happens then.

Q) My door locks keep bouncing, every time I lock my car the doors unlock?
A) The solenoids in the door have failed, you need new ones.

Either down to the weather (freezing up) or they have failed completely.

As I posted earlier try drying/warming and lube before replacing, why spend a fortune when a bit of DIY can save £'s.

Still more expensive than a can of WD40 which is only £3 max.

That is only a temporary measure most of the time.

WD40 bodgetastic.

If people serviced there cars correctlty then there wouldnt be a problem with the door latches sticking or freezing Wink
