There should be a little metal plug in the top of the box and i think it takes 3ltrs.....this could be wrong though.

If you take the battery out, there's a breather hole on top of the gearbox, black plastic, that's the easiest. The proper fill point is on the side of the box, but it's a pain to fill up from there. I think it's 2 litres of oil, but you'll have to check. It's the same as the 138 engine, and the 2.0 hdi.

Its ok to do it through the breather if you know it's empty, otherwise you run the risk of over-filling it.

So we all know about the bodgers method, the correct method is even easier - just use the filler plug on the side!

agree with this man, also you can put the correct amount of oil in without overfilling

Drain is on the bottom.

Using a oil can is a good idea when re-filling, then you can easily measure how much you have put in.

I work in Citroen... In our garage we prefer to use 75W90, it resists better to high temperature, it solved many problems... Personally I add X1R friction eliminator to gearbox oil, it works wery good (it's totally unuseful in engine oil, insthead)...
