#1: Slight smell in the interior [Update] Author: Daeva, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Wed Feb 15, 2012 10:44 am ---- We' ve checked for water, we've used spray for the air con twice, it does not seem to come from the vent.
Also checked for any obvious causes (left food e.t.c).
Any ideas what it might be, or where else to look for water apart for seats e.t.c.?

But it's not coming from the vents.

After I had them removed and thrown away, the smell vanished.

Problem now solved.

I know this is solved, but if you hoovered vigorously in the first place it would never happen. I hoover every weekend without fail. And once every 2 months I take all the seats out, take all of carpet out and wash it properly with an carpet cleaner. My car always smells top dollar. Shame the car isnt worth top dollar.

WOOOOW! you actually do this!? how long does it take, i've never done mine (like a few others i expect) and do like the sound of this level of clean ..maybe not quarterly but i'd imagine so much crap coming out of mine!!
