#1: Tyre sizes Author: omricn, Location: israelPosted: Sat Feb 18, 2012 8:58 am ---- I'm running on 185/55/15 atm, as my mot is next week I thought of getting some new ones, these are my rims (stock that came with the xsI):
will I be able to replace my tyres with 195/55/15 ones? will they be a straight fit on my rims?
tnx

#4: Re: Tyre sizes Author: omricn, Location: israelPosted: Sat Feb 18, 2012 10:14 am ---- Ok matt thanks

Tnx Timon long time no speak!, I'll think about the 50's as well, worried the ride will become tougher but indeed they'll look a lot better.
and thanks for the compliment

You are most welcome my friend, don't worry about the ride,50 would be great on rode, just becareful of the bumps and holes..hehe.
So why don't you fit a crystal headlights for your car,and change the lower grill for a honey comb one,and btw do you know anyone selling a sport bumper like yours??

They ARE crystals, they come standard with the xsi, i guess they are a bit opaque and not clear as they were when my car was new.. tried to polish them but they didn't really cooperate..
About the lower grill.. I'd love a honeycomb one but cash is a bit short these days, you know how it is here...
don't know anyone selling a sports bumper but you'll be the first to know
#9: Re: Tyre sizes Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:46 pm ---- it's hard to tell if they were frosted or crystals cuz the lights are on,but since you got crystals that is good :D,I had to replace mine when had a lil accident, look at my project, they costed me 500 NIS DEPO brand.
The honeycomb grill is expensive I know, and as you said we all short of cash these days, hope things will get better soon, thank you for watching a sport bumper for me incase someone is selling :D.
btw,you can have a mesh grill by yourself if you want,it's very cheap as well.
#10: Re: Tyre sizes Author: omricn, Location: israelPosted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 3:02 pm ---- Where did you manage to get 2 new crystal lights for 500 nis??! thats insane, or did I not understand you well..
Yeh I already saw your project a while ago, liked it a lot!
and about the mesh grill, I kinda' like original, genuine stuff, and not DIY parts, especially grills, they just look better when original..
#11: Re: Tyre sizes Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:54 pm ---- Well I bought them from a wholesaler, they are DEPO,not the original Valeo, but they look great, and you fit the adjuster motor and everything, but maybe you need an adapter if yours are not H7,if you are interested in a set,PM me,and we can arrange sending them to you.
About the mesh grill,I agree with you that the genuine stuff are the best, but what can we do :(,things here are not avilable as they are in UK
