#1: red body/ black details Author: chambie1980, Location: stockportPosted: Tue Feb 21, 2012 9:21 pm ---- looking for any input on what members think about cherry red with black details as im thinking of going this way. ie black wheels, angel eyes /lexus rear lights and side. cherry red sun strip with 206 in black, maybe lowered 30mm and sponsor stickers down both doors... car is currently full colour coded 1.4 5dr sport
thanks

I don't doubt that mate.
My comment was more aimed @ tomd0801754 who seems to think he's reinvented the red and black theme. It's not the first time I've seen him say 'wonder where you've seen that' or along them lines.
Red and black is done to death just like every other colour scheme.
I never claimed to have invented it, nor reinvented it.
Huh? what did I miss?
I would also like to see where I have said this (or similar) before?
If the OP wants to do red and black, that's his decision. I ain't arsed, I merely commented on where he may have seen this. That whole Internet emotion thing seems to have got in the way. It's meant to be light-hearted, maybe when your head is out of your a**e you may see that.

Just remember...imitation is the highest form of flattery.
#4: Re: red body/ black details Author: shell-vt, Location: durhamPosted: Wed Feb 22, 2012 4:18 am ---- been done many times but still looks good, ide prefer grafite gray or simular
#5: Re: red body/ black details Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Wed Feb 22, 2012 4:19 am ---- JamieM - the winks say it all. But fair play. My bad.
#6: Re: red body/ black details Author: r1ch, Location: LeicesterPosted: Wed Feb 22, 2012 4:23 am ---- nothing wrong with it, they suit each other well of course but you see it so often. not just on 206's. so being the owner of a flamenco red 206 i am not going down that route!

Except for the people who have replaced part's without spraying

Remember if the sunstrip is in the wiper blade swept area it will fail the mot
#12: Re: red body/ black details Author: chambie1980, Location: stockportPosted: Thu Feb 23, 2012 11:03 pm ---- thanks guys, some intresting replies. May have to re-think my ideas and maybe attend a few events to get some ideas. I like the colour theme ( red / black ) that martind listed and maybe stick with my original ideas... less the door sponsors and a sun strip that wont fail my mot ( thanks for that MrBSI, i didnt know that was a fail )
